Aubrey Logan

soprano vocal, trombone

Soprano vocalist and trombone player Aubrey Logan began performing as a child, singing in the Seattle Children's Chorus and performing leading roles in professional productions of Eleanor and The Secret Garden. At age 10, she became the most frequent national anthem singer for the Seattle Mariners' baseball team!

In 2005, Aubrey was chosen as Outstanding Soprano Soloist at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and as one of eight singers in the world to be accepted into the Shure-Montreux Vocal Jazz Competition. She also took part in Berklee College of Music's first annual Summer Jazz Workshop where she worked with noted drummer Terri Lyne Carrington and vocal pedagogue Bob Stoloff. She has been a full-scholarship student at Berklee since September 2006 as a Trombone Performance and Music Education dual major where she studies under the legendary Phil Wilson.

Aubrey has had the opportunity to perform with the Phil Wilson Rainbow Band, Maggie Scott, John Pierce, Christopher Guest, Donna McElroy, Andy McGhee, and Julius Williams. She has participated in Berklee's elite "Best of the Songbook" and "Singers Showcase" concerts. Aubrey performs in the Beantown Swing Orchestra dance band, and has performed the National-Anthem frequently at the Red Sox's Fenway Park. Logan is also an active and enthusiastic member of the horn section of the Berklee Tower of Power ensemble, directed by Wayne Naus.
